Iter
Unlike my other actions, of a much more static nature, Iter has a clear processional content. In it, the sound acquires great importance in its form and structure. The development of the action was to procession around the location of the first wall – Roman Republican – of Valencia, from 138 BCE. The two participants (man and woman) go completely dressed in black and covered by a black veil. At each of the ancient gates, I performed the Seikilos epitaph in memory of pristine Valencia, and we were distributing a card with a text: “How much pain do the gods feel for Europe?”. For the realization of Iter, I counted on the collaboration of the photographer Netele Fuentes. The photographs are by Rosa María Rodríguez Magda.
