Sacra
Over three days, I developed this performance in six churches or chapels of the six historical parishes of the Principality of Andorra (Andorra la Vella, Canillo, Encamp, La Massana, Ordino, and Sant Julià de Lòria). It is an elaboration of Requerimiento: I took a photograph of the skies at that moment, lit a match, and placed a set of stones in front of the main door. Then I circled it counterclockwise playing a wind instrument that I made myself and approaching its walls amidst glossolalic possession. The photographs are mine and Rosa María Rodríguez Magda’s.
